@Ankaman616 Kane scores 0 goals, Brazil champions, Iran qualify from their group … Netherlands do not. At least 1 game has a 2 hour delay due to weather.
@riversorare@ChrisGiles_ Pensions are money saved during working life so the state avoids the open ended risk of full pension provision at a proportion level. Unfortunately no socialist level of taxation will pay for that in the same way it won’t pay for UBI either
Daisy Cooper, "The fundamental problem with Labour is that they want to tax their way to prosperity"
"LibDems want to grow our way to prosperity"
"There is a £90 billion Brexit black hole in the public finances"
"It is obscene that the government recognises that but they aren't going to do anything to fix it"
"That's why the LibDems want a Customs Union"
Conservative Shadow Treasury person rejects the negative impact of Brexit
Daisy Cooper repeats the evidence that Brexit is causing a black hole in our finances
Ellie Chowns chimes in, "It could lead us to the path of prosperity"
"Closer relations with Europe will make us more prosperous"
"This match is a sham. The Lions are simply not good enough."
15 Ashes losses in a row. A 30-point handicap. Eleven players out injured. The lowest Ashes crowd in history...
This is the story of the last time GB won a 3rd Ashes Test - a victory a full decade in the making 🧵
@HukAleksandra The topic is anti uk but really this is the same situation in most developed countries. If you have no attachment to a country other than the finances and your passport allows free reallocation to another country. Sound like you have a solution
@A2Susanne@Marshal_X_model@wdunlap@elonmusk That’s not what happened at all. But I think the general point is that if you are rich then you can define “income” in enough ways to avoid a significant amount which someone on PAYE can’t. That’s regardless of tax rate. It’s all about balance
@trendingblog247 It’s not even the right type of train. If you are going to lie at least be convincing. That’s a commuter or subway, not an intercity train.
The emotion that you can see in his eyes throughout the entire time he talks about his son is really quite moving.
I take my hat off to him for opening up about this. You can see how difficult it is for him.
@Ankaman616 C.
Striker - we were never in the shout to buy who we should want… it doesn’t look first choice
10- for the style of play the best available
Dm - matic was the last one that held the wall. A mad mistake
Gk - it’s a no 2. Looks promising but that doesn’t help on corners
@RichRedVoices The three players should have been coming off the bench in support of first teamers. Everything stems from that cost saving measure. The so called culture reboot needs players out too, that’s not on the manager
Pitiful to watch Lucy Connolly, the racist, middle-aged mum, blinking like a rabbit in headlights - as the wider puppet masters, claiming to have her best interests at heart and intent on sowing division, feasted on her.

@RNjor87512 @AdameMedia Yep uk cpi includes food. The thing is it’s a basket of goods so your spending might not be to those proportions. It’s not trying to measure the impact on you. It’s not a good measure of how paying the bills is hard
@AdameMedia It’s basically 15% inflation for 5 years. I am one of the people who is pretty annoyed too. You have to be aware though, when the tv says inflation is falling… its increase is lower. It’s already baked in. What’s happened and is about to make that worse
@ArturNadol7566@robprogressive Well two governments have tried to prevent wage price spiral when it’s clear this time there is no link. As to prices… inflation compounds that’s why it’s bad. So let’s say annual inflation is 10, 25 then 5% for the last 3yrs. Something costing £10 then is £14.44 now.
@Tommybovey3@GSGB01 The photo shows people of Asian heritage because that’s the subject matter for the story. Look at those just behind the subjects on the same pavement and you can see the lie
#OnThisDay 1981: Two time Ballon d’Or winner, Kevin Keegan appeared on Blue Peter and came face to face with his own likeness in the shape of a “3D Fabric Portrait” of himself.
Has #planetice closed down? The Leeds branch seems happy to take bookings online but isn’t answering phones or emails. I was thinking of booking lessons but it seems risky
