This is just another example of how bad the team has been this year.

Javy has played 45 games this year & has a .667 OPS & a .290 OBP.

He’s been terrible the entirety of his contract but because he’s played the outfield a few times everyone loves him again?

Not too long ago, Javy Baez’s contract was getting lumped into the same conversation as Anthony Rendon and Kris Bryant…😬

Now he’s an everyday contributor, spark plug, 2026 All-Star, utility player, and heart and soul of the team🫀

Sure, it isn’t what he used to be and the numbers aren’t great, but being able to pull himself out of the “unusable” to “key piece of the team” is an incredible comeback story🥲
