it's no wonder the techbro exists. when even simple advancements feel so Impossible that real change is totally beyond the pale. when nothing can be imagined to exist aside from more rent seeking, more saas. this universal mediocrity almost necessitates the Hacker mythos
it should take so little to make changes based on software & the infrastructure it provides but were so bound by economics that even comparatively tiny open source projects that everyone uses or benefits from can't find themselves sustainable

Software folks can get real out of touch with reality, especially when it comes to things like food security and how food is made. It's becoming cliche to have private convos with certain bit shovelers only to be met with such disturbing disconnect. How do we fix this?
