What happened to Sarah Everard has hit home hard for so many women because we make the calculations she did every day too. We take the longer, better-lit route, push the fear aside for the voice that says ‘don't be daft, you've every right to walk home alone at night and be safe’
Sarah Everard did everything right. Everything women are 'supposed' to. Bright clothing. Main road. Called her man. Every woman I know in Clapham doesn't feel safe at night. Not to walk home from work, to exercise, to walk to the shop. I wish more men understood this feeling.

Hard to express my joy and gratitude right now as I completed my Philosophy, Politics and Economics degree at Oxford. I don’t know what’s ahead. For now, it will be Netflix, reading and sleep. 😴
I’m with Gengey on this one however , wrong mixed raced guy @BBCSport . Probably should be getting that right on an article about race issues. Not the first time this has happened
As ever in a crisis of this sort, the poorest and most vulnerable are hit hardest, so in honour of the Battle of Hogwarts, I'll be making a donation of £1m, half of which will go to https://t.co/Lul8tbTzeI, who're helping the homeless during the pandemic

Imagine entering an @ohpolly comp for NHS WORKERS and winning but can’t participate due to working a 12hr shift on Friday on the FRONTLINE and then being told you can’t claim the care package and outfit because you’re unable to be on the video call 😅😅😅
This is absolutely disgraceful by Corbyn. The huge Govt. spending spree is to save 1000s of lives & millions of jobs, & may leave the country in dire financial straits for years. He knows this, but still wants to exploit it for personal self-justification reasons. Shameful.
I urge young women to accept leadership roles. We need you to promote love and compassion. Realise my dream—that the 200 nations of the world be governed by women. There’ll be less war, violence, and economic and social injustice because strength is rooted in love and compassion
