@DerekJohnsonSV @joebelfiore I concur. Voice recognition and natural language input to AI has gotten so good that I am actively using voice everywhere I can and letting my touch typing skills slide. Using voice with AI allows me far more expression of my spoken and sometimes unspoken outcomes.

@toybuilder Yes, exactly. Systems tend to grow in complexity until someone or something simplifies them, preserving most of the original benefits. Deepseek’s radical simplification and open-source transparency were natural, even inevitable, developments.

@toybuilder “Excel is the second best solution to everything” someone said to me years ago and I agree. Need a page layout solution that’s also a sortable/searchable database? Excel. Need a 2D todo list that can zoom from micro to multi year macro scales? Excel. Etc. etc etc
