The wonderful Robert Fagles translations of The Iliad and The Odyssey have audiobook narrations by Derek Jacobi and Ian McKellen and listening to them is every bit as great as you'd think it would be.
@NateForUtah@BjaminWood Is it your preferred policy to tolerate the traffic, noise, and littering violations that routinely occur during the rides? Or, do you have an alternative solution in mind?
It is not just "bad car people" who are inconvenienced, but the people who live in the neighborhoods.
@i_zzzzzz Reggie hate is just mimetic at this point. He's fine. This group is way better than the long national nightmare that was Van Gundy and Jackson.
@bikelakecity@TaylorWAnderson Sorry, but you started the minute counting. I think we're on the same side, but you keep exaggerating to make your points, which isn't helpful. 30 mins to get out of parking near Delta Center after an event is also an exaggeration. Transit advocacy should deal with reality.
@bikelakecity@TaylorWAnderson 8:20am, and we have an extra 1 minute of drive time. (I am not happy about this, to be clear. I want transit to be good). You don't have to defend this.
@bikelakecity@TaylorWAnderson To take the S-Line, change to Trax at Central Pointe, and go downtown is just way too slow. The 220 bus is a faster option from this area... and it's still 3x slower than driving. Transit needs to be somewhat competitive on speed; S-Line ain't it.
@jeffrey_way Chick-fil-a is overstaffed, and has a simpler menu (and therefore processes), relative to other fast-food restaurants.
This results in a less stressful, and more pleasant, experience as an employee; which shows up in their attitude.
