@haesleinhuepf@Czaki_PL@MaKaefer It will be soon, currently caring for my wonderful first child, but I'll make sure to ping you when I make it public. Part of it has been learning cookie cutter ;) maybe we can then smash the two plugins together to get something beautiful working
@haesleinhuepf@Czaki_PL@MaKaefer I've been trying to work on this (perhaps foolishly) as my first napari plugin, inspired by your folder-browser but trying to take a magicgui approach and it's been hair pullingly hard.
You're also referring to napari-workflows? It's definitely a great start!
@haesleinhuepf@Czaki_PL@MaKaefer Something could be set up to use file select widgets just like in ImageJ's batch processing gui, though I suppose the challenge is producing the underlying python workflow file in a batch able way from napari, without ever leaving napari
@AxonsAlex This is awesome! About 5 weeks too late from my initial search ;) but nonetheless extremely helpful for the project I've been starting. Cheers, and beautiful images!
@haesleinhuepf@tudresden_de@APoetsch@zoccolermarcelo@jm_mightypirate Well deserved! I am ever grateful for this resource and its the first thing I share as learning material for folks of all ability these days. Wish it existed when I started image analysis! It's so well laid out and organized.
New publication in @PNASNews from Dr. @tim_monko (PhD 2021) and Professor Yasushi Nakagawa!
"Thalamocortical axons regulate neurogenesis and laminar fates in the early sensory cortex"

Excited to announce that our paper “Reevaluating tear gas toxicity and safety” is now published at Inhalation Toxicology. This scientific review is the culmination of our year long journey to raise awareness about tear gas policy, usage and research.

So proud to have our work continuing to be discussed!
Check out the most recent article written by the U of Minn news that beautifully summarizes the work my cohort and I did on the history, regulation and use of tear gas

@CorkrumMichelle is among the best scientists. She is so compassionate and was a great mentor to me in my early years in the neuro program at UMN. I'm so thankful for her. Give this incredibly impressive scientist a watch and be amazed!
We are so excited to once again bring you our Black In Neuro Seminar Series:
On Friday, June 4th, we will have Dr. Michelle Corkrun MD, Ph.D. @CorkrumMichelle sharing her research on astrocytes! 🧠
Register for the seminar using this link: https://t.co/MdBKinwgK6
Excellent and well researched article from @shijundu from the @StarTribune. Thank you for interviewing me as part of your work. In turn, your research helps us! While it's good that health agencies are following up, the changes to reproductive health are horrible and alarming.
Tear gas, banned in war by international law, has been linked to reproductive problems. But how do you find out what kind of chemical munitions police are firing when you have a "unified command" coalition of agencies each beholden to different policies? https://t.co/aYlW37Lh82
What they didnt show was me staring in rapture at our corresponding author Jenn Brown as she discussed our research with KARE 11. Check us out on YouTube if you didn’t have time to read our papers. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

I'm so proud of my group! Please read this article, it's meant for EVERYONE! No matter your opinions on tear gas you will learn something new, and we hope that as the public learns of tear gases' past and present, hopefully we can use it to change the future.
In timely news our op-ed is out!! Biggest of shout outs to my incredible co-authors @RoTysh @CarryLions@tim_monko and the twiterless Jenn Brown who has been leading the charge on these works for over a year

@lisabendermpls Thank you for approving this resolution! Fellow UMN grad students @RoTysh @CarryLions@toddesca and I have been writing about the history, science, and legislation of tear gas use, and why it should be banned. We would be happy to help however we can: https://t.co/J9KwgNXNZ7
As a UMN grad student I am beyond distressed that the UMPD took part in this “riot control” at the Brooklyn Center. @UMNews we literally JUST published a peer reviewed article on how dangerous tear gas is and how it is used disproportionately against communities of color.
🚨🆕@SciPolJournal is excited to publish our first issue of the new year!
16 select articles tackling issues related to the usage of tear gas, electric vehicles, healthcare, academia & scientific publishing.
