Tech CEO here, explaining machine digital counting again. It does not matter if an electronic voting machine is connected to the internet or not. An electronic voting machine even if stand-alone, counts only what the code in it tells it to count. It can add ten per cent, or fifteen per cent; it can count only every third vote of a certain party, it can count in any way the code instructs it to count. Electronic machines do not create photographic records of ballots and add them up objectively. This is the same principle by which some supermarkets secretly surcharge you at checkout. You have NO reason to assume your votes were counted correctly if you can't see the code or count the paper ballots.
