The media are pushing Burnham because he isn't PM material. He would easily be pushed aside by that media to make way for Farage. Starmer is a much tougher proposition for those vile people. They are desperate to remove him by any means. If he stays, he will succeed big time.
A bitter irony of politics in the UK since 2016, is that the guy most responsible for causing the most damage to our economy & society is the one gaining most from the carnage; that includes uncontrolled migration. The carnage is Brexit, the name of the guy rhymes with Garage.

@dave43law It doesn't matter how it's come to light, the fact is that @Nigel_Farage received £5M from an overseas crypto billionaire is the real issue and needs deep examination.
France already tried “tax-free overtime” back in 2007. By 2012 they’d binned it no extra hours worked, just high earners relabelling their normal pay as “overtime” to dodge tax, while the taxpayer picked up the tab.
So spare us the “reward hard work” speech. The only truly tax-free reward going was Nigel’s £5m from a crypto geezer. How much overtime did he clock for that one? 🇬🇧
