Taking the $OPAL trade (@opalbotgg). Opal started as an AI that you can queue and play games with. Now, their new feature, "Scale Opal" turns your gaming into a data engine. You play games → your gameplay generates high-quality behavioural data → you get paid. Data is sold to AI companies, robotics companies needing human behaviour data, autonomous vehicle companies, esports orgs training on pro-level decision making etc. Pretty much anybody building embodied AI. You may be thinking: "why would robotics companies want this kind of data?" I thought this too. However, the team have answered this in their Discord (will attach screenshot of msgs below). This kind of high quality data is very expensive and is often acquired illegally due to it's unavailability. Scale Opal is building the supply side of this market. This model is similar to Kled, except type of data being collected / sold is different. That being said, in terms of comparatives for price predictions, I guess you could start by looking at that. However, execution matters of course (if team performs they could it). This leads me on to my next point, the team. This team is insane. They have won ELEVEN (I think) hackathons, most recent one being an OpenAI hackathon where they got to meet Sam Altman. Safe to say this team can execute. $OPAL has also signed up to partake in the PumpFun hackathon, and I believe they are a strong contender for first place. They have also spoken to the PumpFun team, who knows what they're cooking up... From what josh (team member) is saying in the screenshot from their Discord below, there is evidence of there being demand for this kind of data, with said evidence coming from OpenAI themselves.
