Lot of people making fun of young people with anxiety and not working. I was one of those young people. I wasn't signing on at that time, but it was a real challenge. I had been a confident young person but I needed help to deal with some trauma. Many young people now don't have that help through grants, counselling etc. Anxiety shouldn't be written off, it takes money, time and good policy to help young people get into work. But it also shouldn't be taken as read that those young people aren't ever able to work. Work saved me. It helped me work through my challenges and gave me stability and routine. But young people now don't have the supports to get them back into work and many are written off. Thats the difficulty here. You cannot deal with this by simply ripping support away. You can't create a resilient, healthy & productive society on austerity and anti-business measures.

He stole a lion statue from the front of my nans house at 8:45pm on Friday. It's more than just a lion statue though, as it was bought by my late grandad who sadly passed in January.
