“I had it all, three years ago.”
Add this to the spiked stories about Weinstein, Lauer, and who even knows what else. Our major media organizations are an absolute cesspool.
@usda_nass Most farmers visit FSA offices, and emailed surveys are quick and inexpensive. At least have surveys open for voluntary submitting? I noticed the 2019 NASS budget was reduced $8m by "eliminating or reducing sample size of select surveys" -interesting. Don’t sell yourselves short.
@usda_nass Ok. Couldn’t we keep this simple and send a survey to every producer? If these surveys are the primary source of yield data and satellite data is only supplemental, wouldn’t it make sense to collect as much data as possible?
@usda_nass Aug report “approximately 20,800 producers were interviewed” and your 2017 census says 2,042,000 primary producers. That looks like only 1% respond?
@usda_nass I'd be interested in a break out by state and even by county if possible - thanks. Also, what percentage of all farm operators respond to these surveys then? (approx.)

Observation from life outside Ohio:
If I say I went to THE Ohio State University people complain
BUT
If I just say Ohio State people always respond with “don’t you mean THE Ohio State”
Michigan State, Wisconsin, Ohio State and Northwestern received votes from other College Football coaches for running the cleanest football programs.
