Looks like Linktree is allowed again, so here's mine - social media, Amazon wishlist, etc. You'll probably not use it, but it's nice to have it all in one place!

@brigadoon1700 Nope, I can't drive due to my epilepsy - never have been able as I developed it as a child. Wedding was last weekend and it was an awesome big gay wedding day! I even danced! (well, wheeled about flailing my arms) ๐
Dreamed last night that Ozzy Osborne was teaching me how to use the theremin on the top deck of the 700 bus to Brighton. Then woke myself up by belting out "I Gotta Be Me" (the Steve Lawrence version) at the top of my voice.

@brigadoon1700 Back home now, it was only a brief couple of nights away for my friends birthday. Been recharging the energy reserves to go out for a long drive tomorrow (about 24 miles) assuming the weather is good!
@PollyReturns@YouTube Lol, I'd love to do that too! Good thing is that while I having to lose the Fallout cosplay, the Ghost Rider one is nigh on complete, to incorporate my disability
Always sad to see a favourite cosplay go, but I can't wear it any more due to being in a wheelchair. Still, I need the money, and at least it'll go to someone who can enjoy it rather than gathering dust at mine...
I'm lucky enough to have a bonesaw signed by the devilishly awesome @twisted_twins, so for you horror fans, a chance to get one for yourself is not to be missed! Get in there - after all....shes an artist! ๐ช ๐ฉธ

You actually donโt get extra points for making yourself suffer. It doesnโt make you better.
Only went and fell outta the bloody wheelchair trying to transfer to bed! Managed to use the grabber to pull the phone over and call reception - two lovely chaps came up and helped me out. Cup of tea, a tab, and I'll try again ๐
Treating myself to a drink at the hotel bar. I never usually drink alcohol (problems in the distant past) but I figure after a 10 hour train trip I deserve one glass of very nice Bristol cider.
One of the most annoying things for me is getting a #Tourettes diagnosis. As an adult, you can't. The completely arbitrary and outdated clinical rules are that your symptoms MUST have started before the age of 18.
I had symptoms at the age of 12 through to 14, but was never formally diagnosed as it was so difficult to get a neurologist (and it's still hard to do). The tics faded after a couple of years, thankfully.
Skip forward 30 years, and my tics resurface, even worse than before. I'd developed MS, and auto-immune, neurological conditions like this make the body & mind more susceptible to tic disorders. (separate from muscle spasms, an MS symptom)
Because the tics are a resurgence, but I never had a formal diagnosis as a youngster, I can't be diagnosed formally with Tourettes - the best I can get is "Tourette-adjacent adult tic disorder". That's quite a mouthful! Since I had the symptoms when I was young, and they have resurfaced - plus the length of the description, I, and others refer to it as Tourettes.
The thing is, the diagnostic criteria of being under 18 is ludicrous, arbitrary, and unfair to those developing the symptoms in later life. Imagine being 19 and developing symptoms. How would that feel?
To my mind, the criteria need urgent review, particularly as the understanding of neurological disorders (though there's no cure, just management) . Tourette Syndrome - and adult tic disorder can be exactly the same, yet we're treated differently, not least in claiming #disability assistance.
Update on travel - yet more problems. My eta at Bristol is now 2200h. That's over 6 hours late, courtesy of delays, cancellations, and more significantly, erroneous information from staff. I've been directed to stations with broken lifts, inaccessible platforms and more.
