I’ve moved across to where the sky is bluer. My single act will make no difference, I have few followers, but this platform has become a place of propaganda and disrespect and I wish no further part.
Watching @uk_dhl deliver to a neighbour is a lesson in customer experience. Take parcel in large cardboard box to front door, ring bell, leave parcel in rain. No answer at the door, drive off. Why would any retail company trust their brand with this?? #dhl
As the wondrous Bob Mortimer is trending, I thought I'd share this quote from his autobiography.
'I've always thought that the two most unselfish things you can do in life are to turn up on time and to be quiet around a house when someone else is sleeping.'
He's not wrong ❤️
Is it a serious government that picks a fight with the National Trust over telling people the full history of their properties?
Is it a serious government that picks a fight with the RNLI over the colour of skin of the people they save at sea?

I have come back to #COP28, because we are on the brink of climate disaster & this conference must mark a turning point.
I am here to renew my urgent appeal to leaders:
Recommit to the 1.5°C warming limit.
End the fossil fuel age.
Deliver climate justice.
Make #COP28 count.
Honestly, what is up with @amazonuk delivery! Parcels left on the front step on a busy street and don't even bother knocking?? Can't trust them with anything valuable so I'm afraid they have lost my Christmas business.
Politico: "Prime Minister, the King has been at #COP28 for two days & other world leaders are staying into the weekend. You've been here for a matter of hours & you're due to leave again imminently. You've spent more time on a private plane, than on the ground at the summit .. "
We could get angry at Suella’s latest piece of performative, pandering cruelty or… instead:
let’s promote the excellent work done by @Shelter, @centrepointuk, @PassageCharity and other fine charities actually trying to help homeless people, especially now, as winter approaches.
❌ Removing laws that protect fragile wild places from nutrient pollution is VERY BAD news for rivers. This is not scaremongering – the Government’s own environmental watchdog says so 🧵 (1/5)
Oh my gosh, a brilliant evening’s entertainment @tbtlake! Fabulous energy and enthusiasm, great joy and wonderful timing. Everything worked beautifully, an amazing & talented cast. #39steps. Go see it!
