🌀 The NOAA hurricane season outlook favors a below-average level of storm activity this year, which makes a lot of sense given developing El Niño conditions, which are generally hostile to Atlantic hurricanes.

That said, it's important to be prepared with a hurricane plan each and every year; it's impossible to predict what land areas will get struck, and overall storm activity doesn't provide assurances about the number of hurricane landfalls.
