We use this to move canvases across elements as you scroll your timeline or hover closer to certain elements, because browsers can only render a few canvases per page.

This is my life journal .
There will come a day, where AI will be able to read my (by then, hundreds of thousands of tweets,)
And then assemble a very accurate replica of my positions, beliefs , worldview, and general intelligence.
My descendants will be able to carry on a conversation with me that will be mostly accurate.
A defense of my testimony, my faith, my beliefs, my politics, and general feelings on most things.
It will be able to go back and look at the dates of what I was posting, where I was, who I was with, and what I was doing and thinking.
This is going to be an incredible tool for any of my future progeny who want to have a conversation with me after Iโm gone.
v0.0.27 has been released, which fixes a few bugs reported over the last few days, and improves import performance in some cases. Thanks to everyone who is trying it out and giving feedback! https://t.co/FuFmRUcmvQ
This project has a *30* *minute* tour video and I watched the entire thing, riveted:

Several years ago I got in contact with @mholt6 about @timelinize. I had worked on @PerkeepOrg and @attic, which had similar goals, so we had a lot to discuss.
All of these projects basically want(ed) to pull your data from all your online web services into a place you control โ your person drive basically โ and then automatically organize and make it useful. It's something I'd dreamed about for years.
At the time, Matt's project was still pretty early and I basically warned him how hard it was. Importing data from every app and personal data source is a massive grind. Then to make a useful UI on top of that would be another huge project.
I saw Timelinize on HN the other day and took a fresh look and I am completely blown away how far it has come. This is a massive labor of love and it deserves to have more people aware of it. Looking forward to giving it a deeper test soon.
PooTube has removed our intro video due to "harassment and cyberbullying" despite that everything shown is randomly-generated fake data. We've sent an appeal but it's just a button-click, no way to explain this to @TeamYouTube

This is the official account for Timelinize. There are fake accounts manipulated by bot rings that have lots more followers and posts and are desperate for money.
We are not desperate for money. Please do not engage them... report them if you see them.
Many nights and weekends over the course of 10+ years, and it's finally ready to show you. Still in the "proof of concept" stage, so expect some rough edges!
