What scares me most about leadership today isn’t another corporate, political or religious scandal.
It’s something more subtle:
We’ve become so focused on image, emotion and public reaction that we’re beginning to confuse campaigning with leading. 🧵
Leadership has always been vulnerable to hypocrisy.
But today, our screens and platforms can allow someone to travel far by sharpening their campaigning skills without strengthening their leadership skills.
That should concern all of us.
