@dcFaddy@sunnyright @MattDevittWINK Actually Chris, I have a rescue animal at home and he is my life. I also used to be a journalist and have friends at this tv station. I don’t know the reporter. I’m sure he didn’t take pleasure in the kitten dying.
@WhatIf_Chris@sunnyright @MattDevittWINK You know, you’re right. I think the sheriff said hundreds of people this AM, but they don’t know an official number. I’m guessing many other pets also died. It’s a tragedy. I just think the internet outrage against this one reporter is unfair. He didn’t want the kitten to die.
@Blondie610@sunnyright @MattDevittWINK I didn’t hear him laugh. Not sure he was in a position to run out and safely get the kitten. I don’t think anyone takes pleasure in the thought of this cat dying. Speaking of mental health and distress, these human beings went through a hurricane. Have empathy for them too.
@sunnyright @MattDevittWINK If you’re truly upset about the kitten dying, It might be best to donate to the Humane Society rather than criticize this reporter on Twitter. Hundreds of people are dead. His workplace was flooded. Stirring up internet outrage won’t help pets or people right now.
@JollyJulieee I voted on Saturday and waited about 5-10 minutes. I live in a heavily populated urban area. If you go during a busy time, like during lunch or right before and after work, the lines will be longer.
