Not only that, Chuck Grassley’s Judiciary staff left the texts out of its own hearing memo. Schmitt’s team went digging for them, then used them to accuse Jack Smith of perjury.

Cornell has been caught in a lie this morning. After previously asserting that they turned over all investigatory documents to the DA, NYT reporting reveals that they withheld the transcript of Jane Doe’s testimony and sent only the summary they produced, omitting key details and assertions. While Jane Doe did sign the statement, she is NOT an attorney and was not at all qualified to determine which legally relevant details to include or omit. That is the job of a system that failed her at every turn. And to be clear, this does not absolve the DA. If he truly believed he received a police report about a totally consensual evening (which that six page summary was not) it was his job to investigate why this young woman made a police report in the first place. My issue with what is happening at Cornell is with the institution and the way it was/is being handled. Cornell has covered up sexual assaults before, including Epstein's Urologist, Dr. Paduch who sexually assaulted multiple boys as young as 13 while at Cornell and then was allowed to go quietly to another hospital and continue doing it.
Cornell did not tell the other hospital about the reports, nor did they do anything about it. Now they are paying $878M for it.
The Cornell Police department reports directly to Cornell's CFO who makes the financial and risk decisions to for the university. The Ithaca Police are not allowed to get involved unless Cornell Police give them jurisdiction and they weren't even told about this case. There was more investigation done to find Palestinian protestors then to determine if this girl was raped. That is the problem.
SO, my issue is with how often this happens and no one reports it because look how it's handled. There is not accountability and the Epstein class will continue if we allow it to continue.
