There was no information about interest rates. It was just “accept these terms and pay what you owe us now.”

@itsalaughingman @Norsemun @insanefrog Technically, the SC ruled in favor of Jefferson and Madison’s “wall of separation” - but other framers disagreed, and the 1st amendment was a compromise.

Because the ruling was based on interpretation, not literal text, the door is open for originalist justices to reinterpret.

@pattyisright @LucasSa56947288 NYS tried to gerrymander in favor of democrats after the 2020 census. It was so bad that it was ruled unconstitutional by the NYS court of appeals.

As such, what happened is no different than the CEO of a company issuing a written directive to do something. Delegated authority is common (and typically necessary) in large organizations.

Yet, your original comment was about traffic violations. Driving is also a privilege, not a right.

@GilesUdy Look up folder lock - it’s an app that lets you create encrypted lockers… unlock it when you want to access your data and they appear in a folder on your hard drive. Just make sure the app your using to create documents puts any backups or version history in the locker too.
