WATCH | Outrage continues to mount in Budiriro following the sewer trench tragedy that claimed three lives, with residents accusing the City of Harare of negligence.

Speaking to our news crew, residents said contractors and council workers must ensure that excavation sites are properly secured before leaving them unattended.

They warned that open trenches and sewage pits continue to pose a serious danger to the community, especially children and pedestrians.

The calls come as investigations into the tragedy continue, with residents demanding accountability and tighter safety measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
