@_PeterRyan Post independence Irish archaeology was the opposite. Anything built after 1169 was viewed as contaiminated by English influences, and work focused on early Christian Ireland and prehistoric burial monuments.
@RobLooseCannon RTÉ created Quizone in the 00s, which was made with teams of younger kids but set in a soft play area, where the team had to find the answer to a question while 1 member ran through the maze. No blackboard Jungle, but it was pretty good!
@oisinlangan I'm fully expecting TG4 to do a dating show with Seán Ó Maoilchiaráin called "gra oileán", except it's set in a Bean an Tí's house on Inis Meáin
@mairecait_mk TBF you'd never guess Kyne was FG from the posters, he has a microscopic FG logo on them, and their candidate in Dublin Central is doing the same. FG know their brand is toxic
@Anjinsan_87@Knightly_Hist@misopogon11 I had a theory that Ramsey did it deliberately, so that he wouldn't have as many horses to feed over the winter, and whatever horses remained were under the direct control of House Bolton. It only works cause Ramsey is portrayed as someone who thinks that would be a good idea.
@GAAjuggernaut@RefComeOn The viwing figures would be shite, Roscommon fans never watch their games. They can't tell the teams apart when watching in black and white
@finnster1977@ExaminerSport Kilcormac-Killoughey won the senior b in Offaly a few years ago and they didn't go up. B teams are also ineligible to play on into provincial competition, so its a headache when they do well
