@BBCNewsbeat junior doctors do a hell of a lot more than "minor ops and a lot of jobs" please contact @TheBMA to get yourself better informed. Managing sick patients in A+E/wards, accepting referrals into the hospital, managing the ITU at night, to name just a few #juniordoctors

Junior doctors are not asking for pay restoration in one go, we have never asked for pay restoration in one go, please update your article to reflect the truth

@NickTriggle did the BMA demand instant pay restoration for junior doctors? That's no what my BMA reps informed me

@NickTriggle What do you make of the government not agreeing to meet for talks to avert this? (Aside from 30 minutes a few weeks ago to say that they will not make another offer unless we change our starting point)
@NickTriggle Ok, so it doesn't sound like it was the same preconditions being expected of the BMA (or not as BMA worded it to me).
What do you make of Steven Barclay only setting aside 30 minutes to discuss with the BMA this week and offering no improved deal?
@NickTriggle one of the preconditions for the BMA to accept was as follows. That the BMA would guarantee they would recommend any offer the government was going to make and offer it to their members. Can you confirm that RCN, Unison, Unite etc al agreed to this
@NickTriggle "Ministers have offered the BMA talks on the same basis as with the other unions - but it has declined." Are you telling me the government also told the RCN they would only negotiate at 21.49 on a Friday night? Or is this a slight misrepresentation by you?
@Keir_Starmer how about you bring up the doctors strike at PMQs and how badly rishi and co have treated junior doctors. You can't get through backlogs and get on top of waiting times without staff.
Classic RFU behaviour, no issue banning a minority from all levels of rugby despite stating there is 'insufficient evidence' to do so, but the moment someone says something about posh boys and where they went to school, it's straight to the battle stations.
Bayern Munich had a bench last friday without a single Bundesliga appearance yet they fulfilled the fixture. PL teams got squads up to 60 players and call games off on a weekly base. What’s the point having these young players?
I have been thinking this exact thing for years now, specifically for professional rugby. Anyone have an argument against it? #rugby#playerwelfare

Hi @oligamp can you direct me to a quote where I say what you’ve put in the headline?!! I’m a big fan of Dias (POTY for me) but me saying he’s the best defender in the PL by a long way is obviously linked to a certain defender being out for the season. Plenty of hits I’m sure!
