Meat cases nearly empty at the Ft. Rucker commissary. This isn’t a supply problem — it’s a personnel problem. Inefficient Army civilian hiring practices leave the store director unable to hire replacements, creating chronic shortages that hurt Soldiers and families. Fix the hiring system. @YourCommissary, @RepMikeRogersAL, @SenTuberville@YourCommissary #Army #MilitaryLife #ArmyCivilian #DeCA #Commissary #Hiring
Hey @FedExHelp, do you see a gate on my driveway???? You don’t because there isn’t one. Your exhaustive search didn’t turn up anything because your terrible driver left my package on the main road an 1/8th of mile from my house and it was stolen. This is not the first time this has happened. What are you going to do about it?
@themarketswork@WesternLensman John Brennan Former, (and apparently current) Professional Liar! Think about it, it was literally his job to BS the entire world. Pro Tip: You can tell when he is lying when his lips are moving.
Absolutely no issue with the cause, but the implementation is starting to show that this isn’t being thought through thoroughly. For instance, the “Resign” email that was sent earlier. Regardless of the reply, even if it was an “out of office” response, it added the individual to the list. In this case, the deadline was 11:59 p.m. today. What if the person is on approved leave? Don’t get me wrong, there are many individuals in the federal workforce who adhere to the motto “start slow and taper off.” However, there are also many hardworking patriots who are beginning to question how we’re approaching the problem.
If she “worked for a company” she was not a federal employee, she was a federal contractor. Federal Service Contracts (contractors hired to provide services) are typically single year contracts with option years. The government has the option to terminate or adjust these contracts at their discretion. If you no longer want to continue to pay the guy who mows your grass you terminate your contract with him, same thing. If he’s really good at what he does he simply finds other yards to mow and all is well. If he’s not hopefully he has other skills or saved his money.
Andy, As a current government employee of over 40 yrs and as you well know, government budgets are….. well they’re not really budgets. Most people think of budgets in terms of their own, they know how much they have to spend and “budget” to stay within that amount. Government “budgets” on the other hand are loosely defined guideline’s at best that lack any real teeth or consequences should you exceed them. The issue is clearly that an outside civilian agency with an eye towards real accountability is flipping over rocks that have never been looked under before and it’s going to be UGLY.
