BREAKING: The @RISenate just unanimously passed S.2198 Sub A. Rhode Island will now form a Senate-led Special Legislative Commission to Study Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. 10 members, with an interim report in Jan 2027 and a final report in Jan 2028.

Don't sleep on Rhode Island ⚓️

Went to the state house to testify in support of protection of private keys and blockchain study bills.

Ended up in an hour long side-discussion with state reps about bitcoin, including how we might amend the crypto ATM law passed last year so it doesn’t unintentionally penalize good actors.
