The Bible tells us why Jesus hasn’t returned: “The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent” (2 Peter 3:9 NLT).

The Lord is waiting for the last person to believe. And when that day comes, when that person believes, we will meet Him in the air in the Rapture.

As American #Christians, it’s hard to be belong to Heaven and belong to our country because while our Kingdom citizenship unites us, our American citizenship so often divides us.

We have to learn to live peaceably as both.

Even if #EveryLegalVote happened, I still don’t know if @realDonaldTrump would have won. I totally believe that many legit mail-in ballots would have shown up when they did.

However, to deny even the POSSIBILITY of voter-fraud is irresponsible. Don’t be an ostrich. #election2020

If @JoeBiden at least acknowledged the statistical irregularities that we saw happen in real-time, and then promised to follow through on legitimate claims of voter fraud, that would begin to gain my trust.

As an American, I just can’t understand how election integrity became a partisan issue.

If there was even the HINT of foul play in the process, I would want to look into it rather than dismiss it.

@bwsqrd And I’m agreeing with you that that’s wrong. If our republic will last, people need to have every confidence in our democratic process (lacking right now!)

Chips fall where they may, I just want to be able to trust in our system. Both parties need to make steps toward that end.

I am grateful for and wholeheartedly affirm Christian zeal to care for children in the womb through the political process. Let’s match it with Christian zeal to care for women with unwanted pregnancies and to foster and/or adopt vulnerable children in our homes.

We make our plans, but the Lord directs our steps. Because of drastically changed plans, we were able to stop in Selma, Alabama to record a song on the bridge on our way home from a funeral. That bridge is a place that draws our hearts heavy.
