@rtralphy I don’t understand this argument…, they are the Geelong Cats?…. Geelong is not Melbourne. We have a home ground in Geelong… if we didn’t have a home ground in Geelong we wouldn’t exist? Don’t know how that’s an advantage. Should all clubs play at a neutral ground all year?
@paigecardona April 7 - Pinned tweet about being laid off and shattered about losing your place of work
May 12 - SANFL club killed off people’s livelihood and no doubt a ton of volunteer = big joke
Wow hypocritical much
@nathantemp7 Mate, honestly it wouldn’t of mattered what he has said or done people will turn it into a negative. How about with all this going on as Gerard Whatley said just be kind to each other.
@Pablo_EccyBrah @gpowell87@stevie_25@RalphyHeraldSun But did they even play hardball? It was done two days into the trade period, no other team got involved and you literally just said you’d rather have Kelly over those picks, which Geelong would also want.....
@mac_time53@superfooty@Robbo_heraldsun Which is fine, it is about attendance you are right. But your argument about Geelong wanting to play games there during the year is wrong. They don’t want to!
@mac_time53@superfooty@Robbo_heraldsun The last time Geelong played at the MCG in a home game against Col. There was a crowd of 46k, they lost and they also would of lost $$ Hence why they ask for all 11 games in Geelong! .... they don’t play there to earn money they get told they are playing there.
All the people complaining about their seats at #BoomersUSA . It’s in the middle of a football ground what did you expect? If you’ve paid good money to attend then your doing pretty well. Just sit back and enjoy, be grateful. It’s not the end of the world.
@Reynolds_R@Normy_GK Maybe the one positive is that now it’s been done. Any future events if they were to happen they could re-do prices and have a more cheaper option courtside and raise the price for the upper levels. I still think they sell out regardless
@Reynolds_R@Normy_GK Yeh but they were there. It’s at rod laver arena , tickets are $1000 each there are no bad seats. but 40k people and 5k kids miss out on seeing their idols. Yeh it’s not ideal but that’s what happens when it’s played on a footy field so 50k get the chance to attend
@Normy_GK@Reynolds_R Correct, and tomorrow instead of headlines about the game and seeing rising stars play on our home soil and 50k attending at the game. It will be about the “plastic” chairs and outrage with each media joint trying to do exclusives with angry outraged fans.

@XavierJSmith@Melcatzzzz@superfooty@RalphyHeraldSun Cats fan too. Would rather see my team make it though to a grand final playing at their home ground from my lounge. Then get done by another team in a QF at the opponents home ground in person surrounded by 70k of their fans...
@carbs_28 @paigecardona @katjhammo @GeelongCats Your a doggies fan imagine it’s ten years time Whitten Oval has been done up holds 30k. You play Freo there the last few years win easy each time. Finals come around your scheduled against them in an elimination final. AFL decides to hold it at the G. Would you be ok with that?
