In case anyone comes across this, the @Ask_Spectrum bot that responded told me the same thing. You can pay the fee or cancel. @TB_Times have others reached out to you about this yet? Cable companies charging displaced hurricane victims “seasonal” fees for no service?

it’s disgusting you are attempting to charge customers who have been displaced from their homes by Milton a monthly fee to “hold” your services. I’ll be cancelling and promise we’ll be switching to a new provider when our home is restored

Shaq Barrett and his family suffered a tragic loss this past weekend when they devastatingly lost their two year old daughter Arrayah Barrett to a drowning accident. While prayers and thoughts offer solace to the family, we thought it might be heartfelt to also show them support by donating to their non-profit in honor of their little girl.
