As someone who loves genre schlock, hot people, and stories in the world of Spider-Man without Spidey himself…
I’m so ready for 2024. 😌

the other day a friend sent me this, saying that whenever he sees me getting into an argument with people online, he's reminded of it, and now it pops into my head every time lol
Stop trying to make Josh Shapiro happen, my gosh.
Tim Walz would’ve been a quality asset to the Harris campaign if he’d been allowed to be (and if the Harris campaign weren’t an absolute shit show).
For all my Venom heads: an interview with Mrs. Chen herself, the delightful Peggy Lu, on how she got into acting, her dynamic with Tom Hardy, and more: https://t.co/acognApXC4
the leftist position is that people’s positions, even if horrific, have roots in their material reality. the liberal position as best i can tell is that 20-30% of the country has an irredeemably evil soul. i guess im going with the one you could actually do something about.
@riteshwriter I haven’t read any of them.
But, I do know that Destro, from what I’ve heard, is most fans’ least favorite of the minis. So, between that and you saying it’s the best… (plus I just like Watters)
…oh no, what if I read an Energon mini. 😭
@RobertSecundus My guess is that Black Label will be the prestige, “mature” cape books not beholden to continuity; Elseworlds will be the cape books that have specific big high concept hooks; & Vertigo will be the non-cape books like Nice House (to compete with Boom!).
@riteshwriter YES, I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought of Shade, lol.
Rodríguez is my personal favorite current superhero artist; so excited to see him teamed with Camp on a book like this.
I don’t think in my adult life I have ever felt more like we live in hell. I’m not hopeless cause that’s not how I roll, but there is a casual cruelty and indifference from people regarding the treatment of the world’s forgotten and dispossessed that I find just totally wretched.
