Last night, I read the entirety of C.S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters. It's a novel told in the form of letters written by a demon to another demon instructing him on ways to manipulate his "patient" to do evil.

Cheating is in the Left's ideological DNA. It makes sense for them to cheat because:

1) they are pragmatists who believe that ends justify means,

2) they are materialists who believe there will be no ultimate reckoning for their crimes,

3) their ideas can't win in a fair fight,

4) a conscience at peace with pre-natal murder will not balk at the far lesser crime of election fraud,

5) their thought-masters always depict the Republican opponent as a racist, misogynist, fascist, literal Hitler who represents an existential threat to the very survival of humanity, and primarily because

6) they are never held to account.

So did they cheat? Of course. And their cheating will continue unabated until it is consistently met with material consequences.
