God’s amazing grace sent down from Heaven,
Rescued me from death and from shame;
Opened up my eyes and brought salvation,
Now I’m His, praise His holy name!
Now I know He is mine,
I am His forever;
He is leading me along life’s way,
He’ll be holding to my hand. .
Troublesome times are here, filling men’s hearts with fear
Freedom we all hold dear now is at stake.
Humbling your heart to God saves from the chast’ning rod
Seek the way pilgrims trod, Christians awake!
Jesus is coming soon, morning or night or noon
Many will meet their doom..
They tried my Lord and Master,
With no one to defend;
Within the halls of Pilate
He stood without a friend.
I’ll be a friend to Jesus,
My life for Him I’ll spend;
I’ll be a friend to Jesus,
Until my years shall end.
'Twas a life filled with aimless desperation
Without hope walked the shell of a man
Then a hand with a nailprint stretched downward
Just one touch then a new life began
And the old rugged cross made the difference
In a life bound for heartache & defeat
I will praise Him forever..
There’s a land that is fairer than day,
And by faith we can see it afar;
For the Father waits over the way
To prepare us a dwelling place there.
In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore;
In the sweet by and by,
We shall meet on that beautiful shore.
Sharon and I were privileged to be a part of the celebration for Ed and Debbie Russ on their 40th Ministry Anniversary at FaithWay Baptist Church in Evansville, IN! The church truly honored these faithful servants of the Lord! We count them as dear friends and fellow laborers!
Hark! ’tis the Shepherd’s voice I hear
Out in the desert dark and drear
Calling the sheep who’ve gone astray
Far from the Shepherd’s fold away.
Bring them in, bring them in
Bring them in from the fields of sin;
Bring them in, bring them in
Bring the wand’ring ones to Jesus.
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
I have decided to follow Jesus;
No turning back, no turning back.
Tho' none go with me, still I will follow,
Tho' none go with me, still I will follow,
Tho' none go with me, still I will follow;
No turning back . .
I am happy today and the sun shines bright,
The clouds have been rolled away;
For the Savior said, Whosoever will
May come with Him to stay.
"Whosoever," surely meaneth me,
Surely meaneth me, O surely meaneth me;
"Whosoever," surely meaneth me,
"Whosoever," meaneth me.
O for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer's praise,
The glories of my God and King,
The triumphs of His grace!
My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
To spread thro' all the earth abroad
The honors of Thy name.
There will never be a sweeter story,
Story of the Saviour’s love divine;
Love that bro't Him from the realms of glory,
Just to save a sinful soul like mine.
Isn’t the love of Jesus something wonderful,
Wonderful, wonderful?
O isn’t the love of Jesus something wonderful . . .
