Also some helium nuclei (without orbiting electrons), so ions consisting of two protons plus two neutrons (these are also commonly called alpha particles). Photons are not a part of this plasma.

@WilliamFDrishJr@ExploreCosmos_ While I agree with everything else you said, I think your timeline is way too ambitious.Our current rocket technology would require tens of thousands of years to reach even the closest exoplanets, and there are no technologies on the brink of making huge propulsion breakthroughs.
