@gmail Note: on the same computer (and browser), it does all work as expected for a different account (that goes for the quoting, "Loading [email protected]..." and "Undo Send" options). I can share more specific details in private messaging or email if that helps.
@gmail I'm experiencing problems sending plain text emails with a specific GMail account (another account is fine). Empty quoted lines (i.e. lines containing only a ">") are removed upon hitting Send, which makes for very weird looking quotes with gaps. Any idea what causes this?
@gmail That was the first thing I tried (before asking questions), as well as trying incognito mode, a different browser (tried both Chrome and Firefox) and even a different computer. However, because you suggested, I just cleared the data again - unfortunately no difference.
@gmail Since there are the other UI differences as well ("Loading Gmail..." instead of the personalised message, and not being able to turn off "Undo Send"), it feels like this specific account gets a half broken other version of the UI. Tested with ?labs=0 and other browsers as well.
@gmail Both, actually. I sent an email to another address. Upon sending, the quoted text changes as described (which I see in my sent emails). The receiver receives the text exactly like that (the changed version). Only difference is, of course, headers added in transit.
