I stand behind and honor every American who wears our nation’s uniform.

Our hearts are heavy today as we remember Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Carrollton, Texas, and 1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Hawaii, who were killed while serving our country in Jordan during an Iranian missile and drone attack. They were far from home, answering the call to serve, and made the ultimate sacrifice.

Today, I ask everyone to keep their loved ones, their fellow service members, and all those serving overseas in your thoughts and prayers. May we never take their courage, service, or sacrifice for granted.

Please take a moment today to remember these American heroes.
