❗️Now, Avinash Maibam (16) and Anthony Ningthoujam (19) who have been abducted and their fate is unknown. We have seen multiples instances of Meiteis safely sending back #Kuki children. We expect #ChinKukis to reciprocate the gesture.

❗️We urge both communities to release children and minors; and ensure their safe return. Let us use this as an opportunity to built trust and confidence; and not to escalate violence.

Strongly condemn the statement of @RahulGandhi that Manipur has become two states. By his statement it is understood that @INCIndia is supporting the balkanization of Manipur to get votes in Mizoram.

It is worth mentioning here that it was the Central Govt under the Congress party who insulted the people of Manipur in 1949 when Manipur was merged into India in a very undemocratic way bypassing the then existing Legislative Assembly constituted through universal adult franchisefranchise in June 1948.

Adding salt to the injury, the preexisting State of Manipur whose power and glory could claim as an Asiatic power in the past was reduced to the status of a Part C State to be governed by a Chief Commissioner appointed by the Government of India.

Since then the successive governments under the Congress party at centre and state have been following the policy of #MeiteiContainment to destroy Manipur.

Will it be wrong to conclude that the Congress party is the enemy of #Meiteis and hence #Manipur?
