Bollywood star Randeep Hooda flies down to Punjab to extend Support on ground for Flood-Affected Families in Punjab

According to a source close to the initiative, “Randeep as always wanted to personally stand with the people of Punjab during this difficult time. He joined hands with the Global Sikh NGO with whom he is associated since a long time, to provide relief, rehabilitation and visit flood-hit areas to meet families who have lost their homes and belongings. He interacted with affected families, listened to their struggles, and assured them that efforts would continue to reach those in urgent need.”

With the help of volunteers of Global Sikh NGO working tirelessly, relief materials are being distributed, and every effort is being made to bring comfort to affected families.

While the floods have left behind a trail of destruction, acts of kindness and unity like Randeep’s visit serve as a reminder that the people of Punjab are not alone in their recovery journey.

So glad to hear that the Honourable CJI has agreed to look into the ruling about stray dogs in NCR. Passing a law and implementing a law should be firstly humane and secondly the infrastructure and sensitivity needs to be taken care of.
Are stray dogs our collective community humanitarian responsibility? Yes. Can they be a menace ? Yes. I’m glad the SC ruling has started this larger conversation. I love animals but will I be able to justify it to a family that has lost a loved one to rabies or dealt with serious injuries ? No. Impounding the entire population of dogs might not be a good idea or feasible. So let’s as citizens look at alternatives. The only alternative is large scale and cyclic neutering and maybe redistributing or capturing of aggressive packs that have become very territorial. This is a long term possible solution that over the years will reduce the numbers. Also adopt as many as you can and be actually responsible for them. I know I have.

After the aerial bombing of #Koutruk using Military grade Drones, today the #KukiTerrorist have launched mistakes that can cover 8 km in distance and strike the heart of the town of Moirang and landed just 100 metres away from the #IndianNationalArmy Memorial building .

This destroyed the homes of one of India’s pioneer of the #IndianNationalArmy and the first #ChiefMinister of Manipur, #MoirangKoireng and killing an innocent 70 year old man who was preparing for a household ceremony , injuring several others including a young girl .

A missile launched by #KukiTerrorists has struck the residence of former CM Koireng, tragically killing a Meitei Hindu pujari who was peacefully preparing for an upcoming ceremony. The former CM’s daughter has also sustained injuries in the attack, which severely damaged parts of the property.
