Defiling a sacred Meitei place of worship by forcefully inserting a cross is an egregious act and will not be tolerated. Such actions not only violate the sanctity of a cherished belief for the Meiteis but also demonstrate a complete disregard for religious sentiments. This is a punishable crime, as it undermines the principles of respect and coexistence. Placing a cross atop a structure with different beliefs is not only unchristian but also reveals the insincerity of one's faith. We assert that such actions are unacceptable, and those responsible will face legal consequences for their offensive and disrespectful behavior. Upholding religious harmony is crucial, and any attempt to disrupt it will be met with the full force of the law.
Why Chin-Kukis chose Manipur as their destination?
Migrations in larger batches as well as drip drops have been going on particularly post 1951 until today. Possible valid reasons of why the Kukis would prefer Manipur:
❗️Kukis are able to exploit the vast ‘unadministered’ hill areas of Manipur with their ‘tradition’ of expansionism from one village to another which is not possible in either Nagaland or Mizoram, keeping aside their lack of kinship with people in these two states.
❗️The Kuki population already inhabiting in Manipur have been able to silently absorb and rehabilitate smaller Burmese migrations and settle them down among themselves before creating new villages.
❗️These illegal migrants, with help from their ‘experienced’ former migrants, manage themselves permanent domicile documents fraudulently and start enjoying all kinds of state benefits including 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐘𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐒. It can be remembered here that the competition for govt jobs, etc through ST status is much less in Manipur as the majority population is not in ST whereas Mizoram and Nagaland are almost 100% ST states.
❗️With their kindred in the administrative services, through ST benefits, the new migrants’ rehabilitations and subsequent ‘promotion’ to ST Status become ever smoother!
Way Back in 1987, The Thadou National Council Manipur (Thadous are Kukis inhabiting in Manipur for a long time) who could see what was going on within the Kuki society, perhaps the ‘swarm of illegal immigrants’ that the Meiteis couldn’t see, opposed recognition of certain tribes including Kuki or 'Any Kuki tribe' and even warned of imminent conflict among tribes to the extent of bloodshed if the said groups are granted recognition. The Council even submitted a memorandum to the then Union minister of state for welfare Rajendra Kumari Vajpai on November 17, 1987.
Today Manipur is reeling because of not heeding to that warning!!

#Moreh PremNagar after 3rd of May. Beautiful isn't it ,, clear blue skies, lots of greenery, silhouette of surrounding hills and Oh! BURNT remnants of Meitei Houses which the media doesn't seem to give a damn. @RajatSethi86#Manipur#kuki#ManipurViolence#SaveMeiteiSaveIndia
The SoO agreement has failed Manipur. It's time to acknowledge the truth and take action! #AbrogateSoO for a safer and more secure future! #IndiaUnderAttack
For the first time in the history of Manipur, legislators came together to unite and work towards finding a solution to the ongoing #ManipurViolence in a democratic way.
Questioning such a move is understandable when an organization, like yours, fails to comprehend the language of democracy and advocates for violence.
Let’s celebrate the cultural milestone of Ram Mandir’s inauguration, uniting in diversity. At the same time, it’s crucial to shed light on the unfortunate temple demolitions in Manipur. Join us in raising awareness. #RamMandir#RebuildTemples#Stand4Manipur
Heroes are made when people do the right things sincerely and truthfully, particularly in desperate situations, unfortunately such people are rare in this narcissistic world! The current Manipur conflict has revealed that such people are even rarer in the national media circles, a true reflection of how healthy is the state of democracy in India today! One individual who stood out as a faithful professional who followed true journalistic ethos, truthfully and sincerely, and thus serving not only the people of Manipur but the whole nation, is Mr Tamal Saha @Tamal0401 from The Truth media.
Yes, Tamal is a true HERO for all the peace loving citizens of Manipur, from both sides of the conflict. He has been reporting about the conflict fairly without biasness to either side. When we have people like him around we have hope that peace will return. Hopefully he reminds others the journalistic ethos that the profession demands to maintain peace and harmony in a democratic country like ours.
This revelation from Tamal is a proof that the true citizens of Manipur, on both sides of the conflict, still have affection towards each other. Once the armed violence is stopped, cracked down on the orchestrators of the violence as per the law of the land, peace & normalcy will come back.
@Tamal0401 please take care of this person, his welfare might be perturbed after this interview, I hope you know what I mean!!

You can thank yourself and your group of organized Kuki-Zo engineers of this violence who started on day 1 with news report of “Christians” getting persecuted in India. Think about this if you in fact have a brain. @makesyoucakes
The ongoing attacks in Manipur demand urgent attention, as evidence of Meitei ethnic cleansing emerges. This is a distressing development requiring immediate intervention.

#KukdiepSingh has changed his tune - this is the circus master heading security in India’s most precarious border areas. His incompetence has led those protecting our homeland to their death.
The ongoing attack in Moreh by #KukiMilitants poses a serious threat to India’s national security.
Swift and resolute intervention is imperative to protect our armed forces and regain .

@GolanNaulak who couldn’t even feel a connection to Churachandpur or Manipur is instigating others to break up a land he can’t even identify himself with. His inclination for separatism comes from a deep rooted alienation from the land and the people which he couldn’t even connect with.
The narrative of alienation and oppression are propagandas of people like him who are only planting a dangerous seed for the future.
In addition, the misinformation and lopsided narrative spread by the national media unfairly targets the Meitei community. True love and respect for a homeland (here Manipur) comes from a deep connection with the land, its people, an understanding of its history and the cultural ethos of the place. Asking for a separate administration is only sowing the seed of mistrust, hatred and fear in Manipur which is what the Kukis want.

Tragic loss in Manipur!
27-year-old N James, a Village Volunteer Force (VVF) member and former journalist, fell victim to unknown militants near Kadangband village. Despite immediate medical attention, he couldn't survive severe injuries.
The death highlights the region's struggle with ethnic violence. A Joint Action Committee demands government intervention, vowing not to claim James's body until the armed attacks issue is addressed. This incident mirrors broader challenges in Manipur.
