Finished reading Power, Conspiracy, Jealousy & Love by @tinnidgdg. Oh what a gripping read it was. Finished it within half a day, that intrigued it got me. I like reading any kinda politics & this was so well set, the buildup was top. I liked Ira a lot & her tiny story with Jai.
Nagaland’s film ANGH reached the Oscars, but its grim narrative cuts far deeper than cinema.
How missionaries systematically erased centuries of indigenous Naga tribal identity, rituals, and warrior heritage.
ANGH lays bare the agonizing, forgotten last stand of the Konyak tribe against ruthless cultural erasure.

He is Atiq Hussain, a Bangladeshi who entered India illegally in 2005 and had been living in India for around 19 years.
A Voter ID card, Aadhaar card, and Passport were recovered from him.
Police were surprised to learn that he had been working as a worker at NTPC Sipat Super Thermal Power Station in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
It took 19 years to arrest an illegal Bangladeshi.
A safe food is where public health begins, not in hospitals.
Prevention at the kitchen door costs far less than treatment at the hospital bed.
The outcomes of enforcement go beyond public health. A society where food businesses meet a genuine food standard is a society with fewer preventable illnesses, more consumer trust, and a stronger food economy .overall Health and economic outcomes rise together when food safety is taken seriously.

Northeast India is facing floods, landslides, cloudbursts and extreme rainfall more frequently.
But why?
Is it climate change?
Is it deforestation and unplanned development?
Is it changing rainfall patterns?
Or are we simply not prepared for a changing climate?
The Northeast has always lived with nature - but is nature now changing faster than we can adapt?
Carved from a SINGLE solid block of stone nearly 1,000 years ago.🤯
No joints. Just unbelievable precision from ancient Indian craftsmen, knowing that ONE mistake with a chisel meant throwing the entire block away.
Ancient Indian architecture is unparalleled.
Pray For Assam 🙏
Two unprecedented things happened during this year’s Assam floods.
First, the water level surged by 10–12 feet within just a few minutes, leaving families with virtually no time to save their belongings or even prepare for evacuation.
Second, the floods struck districts that had remained largely flood-free for the last 25–30 years. People living in these areas never imagined they would face such a disaster and were completely unprepared.
The result was catastrophic. Homes, livestock, crops, and lifelong savings were swept away in moments, forcing countless families to rebuild their lives from nothing.
Mirabai played for India and she won for India. Nation is proud of @mirabai_chanu for winning a gold medal for India again at the Commonwealth Games!
Medals are not made of metals, medals are made of sweat, blood & tears!
Default on farm loan, State will waive it. Burn rice stubble, State will ignore it. Steal electricity, State will subsidise it. Attack police, State will allow it. Eke an honest salary, State will tax it.
State will reward defaulters, polluters, and rioters, not honest citizens.
Approach road to this bridge on Tons River, Dehradun, caved in today. Worth ₹16 crore, it was inaugurated two weeks ago.
This is an important bridge, as it is one of the major entry points into Dehradun for traffic from Punjab, Haryana, and Himachal.
What's worse is that people waited 10 months for this because it had collapsed last year too, and since then, people had been using a temporary bridge built with Hume pipes.
It was constructed by the marvellous engineers of the PWD.
Never been a fan of Dharmendra Pradhan, especially after the UGC regulations mess under his watch.
Regarding the NEET, I repeatedly posted that he should've resigned back then only. Taking accountability at that moment would have actually carried moral weight.
Resigning now, however, is a major L. His own resignation letter doesn't state that he is stepping down due to a failure of responsibility; instead, it claims he is resigning so that "anti-national forces don't take advantage of the situation." What is that if not a confession of helplessness in the face of chaos?
If the narrative is that he stepped down to prevent opportunistic elements from exploiting the protests, what does that say about the govt? What is the point of being in power for years if anarchists still hijack and dictate terms to you on national issues?
The right approach even now would have been to keep crack down on opportunists, while simultaneously inviting "only the actual students" to a live telecasted open forum in a major auditorium, acknowledge responsibility directly, announce a resignation, and reassure them that the new leadership will fix the system.
Bowing down to pressure only encourages lawlessness. Sure, you might buy a brief breathing room as this protest winds down, but you’ve given agitators another taste of success. They will be back, stronger next time. Hope you’re prepared.
Haters will say it's a grassfield, but it’s actually Shri Ram College of Education near Bhopal, MP, affiliated with govt-run Barkatullah University. 150 B.Ed students graduated from here annually.
Jokes aside, where is the college? A media inquiry revealed that it exists only on paper and the address listed in University records is this grassfield. Two other institutions, Millennium College and Baglamukhi College, were also registered at the exact same address.
Further probing showed that 125 private B.Ed colleges are registered with the university, most plagued by serious discrepancies. Many don't exist at all, others operate out of a single room, yet all keep granting degrees. How? University officials granted approvals based merely on notarized affidavits. We all know why.
The setup is simple: pay a bribe, get affiliation, run a paper college to save costs, sell degrees, and pocket the cash. These fake degree students then pay pribe to govt officials to get sarkari teacher job. A win-win for everyone involved.
JD Vance just handed antisemites another talking point.
Instead of rejecting the toxic lie that "Israel controls America," he chose to legitimize it. What a LOSER.
When it matters most, JD Vance chooses political convenience over moral clarity.
Some advance toward greatness, others return to it. We Indians do both.
Congratulations, @PawanKChandana and the entire @SkyrootA team on the great success of Vikram-1, making India only the third country in the world after USA and China with private orbital launch capability.
🚨 5 MONTHS WITHOUT SALARY
A woman Home Guard BROKE DOWN in tears because she hasn’t received her salary for five months in Jharkhand 🤯
Jharkhand spends ₹14,000 Crores (8% of total budget) for women cash transfer.
Look at the poster "Smash Brahminical Hindutva Fascism".
How is this related to the NEET paper leak, the National Testing Agency (NTA), or the National Education Policy (NEP)?
This is the agenda being pushed in the name of the protest.
Listen to MLA of Pandabeswar Jitendra Tiwary about the huge work that has been done & is going on in Bengal by BJP after #Paribartan!
Extortion of money that was done by TMC in 15 years is being carried on by BJP in 2 months!
The Kejriwal's Punjab government beat and lathi-charged Punjab employees who were protesting in Khanna after not receiving their salaries for six to eight months.
Kejriwal has made it clear to all employees: “I am not Narendra Modi, who will allow you to sit and protest against me. If you protest against me, I will have you beaten and sent to the hospital.”
