When we hire from the outside, we pay more to get less.
Despite costing more, external hires perform worse and quit more. Promoting from within fuels individual growth and collective success.
If there are never strong internal candidates, we've failed at leadership development.
@mattwallaert Love it - although I would be dedicated to manipulate the input and see if my bot can sound like a celebrity or movie character just to mess with people 💯
History repeats itself isn’t simply because memory fades but the fact that humans don’t learn. It’s more and more obvious that people finds excuses to “overlook” issues by not taking responsibilities and be authentic or transparent
This could also be helpful if the brain knows what to expect. I also wonder if brainless activities (to decompress) is actually a better reward than “activities” that are satisfying? However, there’s also the question of whether if the learning outcome would still be effective
Pretty sure there are studies done on this topic but just had a moment of realization - when I’m on sns, it is a brainless process but regardless, the platforms still have my full attention. And that makes it is easier to dedicate time to watch small educational videos
So perhaps when it comes to future education design, the studies needs to incorporate the learning lengths and how to seamlessly, subtly adding the materials in some other brainless activities.
trans “visibility” doesn’t provide us with housing, or healthcare, or a social safety net, or improve material conditions — basic things everyone else needs too #TransDayOfVisibility
Was researching how listening and reading effects different parts of the brain to simulate creativity, then came across this study – Assessing Aspects of Creativity in Deaf and Hearing High School Students | The Journal of Deaf Studies and Deaf Education https://t.co/frUUM4oOIm
