@tyra_too@dodobabs_ As much as I understand the situation of Nigeria. She intentionally used the annual and not the monthly salary. Then for you to make it a mid level role, rather an entry level; train them, equip them and increase salary as your business grows
@UBACares Can you help, I’ve sent several messages to you but no replies. I sent some money to another of my account but the recipient bank is asking for the session ID of the transaction
In 2018, I was earning 70k per month. I wanted more and knew how to get it. It would require some sacrifice.
October 11th same year, I resigned from the job with no alternative in view. Silly but needed. I didn't want to keep pushing the date forward.
I started learning Data Science from home. Used my savings and donations from friends like @chizzynwokoye to buy a laptop.
I wasn't earning. I was broke that I couldn't go out for parties or join my friends for outing. Didn't have the money nor the time. My Mom fed me as I was living in her house. It was tough but necessary.
Ff to February 2019, I got accepted into a Data Science internship by PayLater (now @get_carbon). I was excited.
April 2019, I got a 4-months part-time job with a contractor. Not a Data Science role. But as a Reservoir engineer. I did reservoir simulation and others. I'm a trained Petroleum engineer.
Contract ended and I returned to my Data Science tutorials. In October 2019, I got a full time role as a Data Analyst with a UK company, operating in Nigeria. From there, I soared.
In summary, pay the price, especially when the vision is clear. For there will surely be a harvest of every sacrifice and seed sown.
@pasadinamuhnk@FinPlanKaluAja1 Please where are you people buying full chicken for 8,500 😂😂😂 I can still understand the other prices but that chicken na lie sha
