Has any town in America bothered to build a permanent structure for its farmers market?
The farmers markets I’ve been to overseas were usually in lovely, central buildings. But here in the richest country on Earth, they’re usually in random scorching parking lots
I’m sort of sad about this because I’m a big fan of the app, however Citymapper was cut. Haven’t used it recently. Gmaps has come a long way for foreign travel in the last couple of years. Will download again on next trip, hopefully.
My personal rule is that to download a new app on my phone, I have to delete one that I don’t use anymore.
I don’t know how many I have (50, maybe?) but I always find one to get rid of.
I made it easier to vote anywhere in Pima County with e-poll books, reduced # of provisional ballots which = faster results, created clear lines of promotion, increased worker pay, reduced turnover, increased # of early voting sites. But sure, I’m just a “Diversity Hire.”
