@billadler The written tests were the hardest part for me, I read carefully through the textbook 3x (I have the memory of a gnat) and also did all of the practice tests three times each!
Good luck, you can do it!
I passed all the tests for a Japanese driver’s license on the first try! 🚗
Ngl though, it was crazy intense and I wish that I didn’t let my Canadian license expire and that I didn’t live somewhere I need a car 😅
@Serenity1226262 Simple and sweet 💕 My husband is kind of over the top so I always feel like I need to reciprocate 😅 But I know he’ll be happy with anything really.
@pandakansai Thank you! Luckily I’m quite happy with freelancing, I just miss interacting in person with coworkers! It’s also a little hard handling a business by myself 😅
@MomoKombat Thank you! It sucks having to go to driving school but I honestly feel like a better driver and way more confident when it comes to driving in Japan!
@KiaMaslaHae @SabiHobby I’ve heard some (most?) driving schools will let you take a few classes for a set fee so you know exactly what to do on the test. Worth inquiring about! There are some private driving teachers out there as well.
@Arstavial Thank you! It was so stressful, really glad it’s over. I wasn’t expecting to pass anything on the first try based on what I’ve heard from others.
@Gaijinotousan Thank you! And omg, some of the questions for the written tests made me want to throw my textbook out the window. Why do I need to know about speed limits, passengers, etc for trucks and motorcycles when my license doesn’t even let me drive them?!
