introversion is inherently selfish. you think extraverts actually want to do the heavy lifting in every room? we just don’t make opting out our whole personality
when someone asks me to go out and i say yes without thinking about my crippling savings account because time is meant to be wasted with friends and money is meant to be spent and the world is meant to be experienced and life is meant to be lived
maybe it’ll come when you’re around people older than you that you realize you’re only 1/th of the way through life. my coworkers hear my age nd gasp and call me a baby like 😭
is this genuinely how younger gen z (im thinking graduated post covid?) feels. bc … in particular it seems like the gap of calling people old way way waaaay earlier began
once you turn 20 you have to fight everyday for the rest of your life to not lose your personality & spirit...bc what once came naturally to you will be exhausted into nothing if you don't actively Try. it's terrifyingly easy to become a lethargic, soulless adult
i hate how none of you people understand southern gothic. it stemmed as a black southern aesthetic facing the horrors of slavery, the bayou, etc.
southern gothic is louisiana, mississippi, alabama, etc. no southern gothic is not anything else. stop discrediting black ppl.
