List of baffling decisions by Arteta I can randomly think of:
- signing Havertz to replace Xhaka
- signing Madueke
- making Ødegaard captain
- not trusting Nwaneri and MLS at all this season
- signing Norgaard as a prem proven player and then never playing him when Zubi is dead
How do you watch Nwaneri & MLS be as good as they were last year and decide to completely abandon their development for worse players? Don’t think I’ve seen a manager with worse decision making than Arteta
@bhogleharsha There’s no real metric you can use to measure ‘good viewing’. Fast bowlers getting assistance from the pitch (not uneven bounce or ball hitting cracks that can be dangerous for batting) — beating outside edges, squaring them up and getting wickets makes for ‘good viewing’ imo.
Someone ordered eggs on Instamart and only one came cracked.
Instead of just reporting it, they opened Gemini Nano and literally typed:
“apply more cracks.”
In a few seconds, AI turned that tray into 20+ cracked eggs — flawless, realistic, impossible to distinguish.
Support took one look at the “proof”…
processed a full refund…
and moved on.
Just pause and think about that.
Our refund systems were built for a world where photos were trustworthy.
But now they’re up against 2025-level AI —
and they’re getting absolutely destroyed.
If even 1% of people start doing this,
quick-commerce unit economics won’t just suffer —
they’ll implode.
AI isn’t the villain here.
The real problem is verification systems stuck in the past.
Welcome to the era of AI vs AI.
The problem now with a bowler coming up in the Indian batting order is you don't know whether they have come as a nightwatchman or it's a batting promotion.
@ashwinravi99@Ajay_2011 Most people love to watch pacers beat batsmen and take wickets, not the case with spin bowling. That’s why you see so many people like those backyard cricket uk videos on instagram. Ball moving at pace is just more exciting and fun to watch.
Even as an Indian Cricket fan, more excited for the #Ashes2023 than I was for the #WTC2023Final ! Going to be very interesting to see how both teams go.
@4sacinom Or an Ian Smith!! He wasn’t wrong but shouldn’t have said those words. Maybe an analyst analyzing post-game in the studio could’ve gotten away with them but this isn’t a commentator’s job.
