To a;ll of you fans of mag lev, or high speed 400km/hr trains in China. Personally i am more impressed by the technology of a B-2 bomber flying around the world and capable of dropping precision guided bunker busting bombs with specific guidance and hit your asshole riding that train between Beijing and Shanghai. Go ride your train and give yourself a communist orgasm.
@MGhavidelan@mohitlaws@Heat3Crypto $200 a month is a living wage in most of the world. In a country that has endured sanctions for 50 years, it is a remarkable achievement
The funniest part of these speeches is how you talk like robots are going to magically hand out universal wealth while you, personally, are actively fighting unions, gutting workforces, refusing basic safety standards, and paying people less than their rent costs. If AI was going to make everyone richer than the richest person on Earth, you would not be lobbying to keep every bit of that wealth funneled upward.
People do not need superhuman medical care and hyper fun games to become wealthy. They need housing that is not price gouged, wages that match productivity, healthcare that does not bankrupt them, and corporations that are not allergic to paying taxes. That is not an AI problem. That is a you problem.
And let’s be real for a second, if robots ever actually eliminated poverty, it would be because society changed, not because billionaires woke up feeling generous. Whenever you say “AI will make everyone wealthy,” what you really mean is “AI will make everything cheaper and I hope people mistake that for wealth while ownership stays the same.”
We will absolutely need AI to care about truth. But we also need the humans running these companies to care about it too. Right now, the machines aren’t the ones overselling fantasies.
