Join me in praying for our sons and our men

Father,

We lift up our sons and the men of this generation before You. You are the Maker of men, the One who formed Adam from the dust and breathed life into him. We ask You now to breathe fresh strength and courage into every man who calls on Your name.

Lord, guard their hearts from compromise, their minds from confusion, and their bodies from destruction. In a world that tempts them to trade their birthright for fleeting pleasures, anchor them in Your truth. Let them be like oaks of righteousness, planted by streams of living water, bearing fruit in every season.

Raise up in them the spirit of David, who trusted You when the world mocked him. The faith of Daniel, who stood unshaken in Babylon. The resolve of Joshua, who declared, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Make our men warriors who know how to fight on their knees before they ever lift a sword.

Protect our sons from the lies that seek to distort manhood. Remind them that true strength is found in humility, that real power is under control, and that leadership begins in service. Teach them to honor women as sisters and daughters of the King. Teach them to be protectors, not predators.

We pray for husbands, that they would love their wives as Christ loved the Church. We pray for fathers, that they would not provoke their children to anger but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. We pray for young men, that they would flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace.

Lord, clothe our sons and men with the armor of God. Fasten truth around their waist. Guard their hearts with righteousness. Fit their feet with readiness to share the gospel of peace. Place the shield of faith in their hands to extinguish the fiery darts of the enemy. Place on their heads the helmet of salvation and in their grip the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word.

And when the day is done, may they be found faithful. May they stand tall, even scarred, but unbroken. May they be known in heaven as men who walked with God.

Dear God, RAISE UP MEN!
