Police say a mother k*lled her husband and her toddler during a family stay at a waterpark resort built for kids.

Her name is Metallica Rose Harrison, she’s 27 years old.

His name was Charles Harrison, their son was just 3 years old.

The family checked into Great Wolf Lodge on September 21st.

On October 5th, they extended their stay.

They were supposed to check out TODAY, but on Sunday night, police say surveillance cameras caught all three walking into Room 2030 together.

Later, Metallica and Charles went to the arcade.

They came back at 11:22 p.m.

According to police, nobody went in or out of that room again.

The next afternoon, at 3:13 p.m., she called 911.

Police say she told the dispatcher she wanted to d*e.

When asked if she was alone, police say she answered:

“My husband and son are already gone in the bed in the living room.”

Then she said: “They’re already gone, I’m sorry.”

Investigators say she NEVER ONCE asked for help for her husband or her little boy.

When officers got there, they found Charles on a mattress on the floor with MULTIPLE st*b wounds to his chest.

Their son was on a separate mattress.

One st*b wound, to the chest.

Police found two kitchen knives in the bathroom.

According to police, she told first responders:

“It wasn’t supposed to end like this. I was supposed to have my happy family.”

She’s charged with TWO counts of criminal homicide.

She’s expected to be arraigned Wednesday.
