I'm stubborn, tenacious, argumentative, and skeptical. I don't do or say things because others tell me to. I'm my own person and determined to stay that way.
@MLB As a baseball fan, I'm dismayed at the MLB for forcing all players to wear the "Pride" symbology last month and suppressing their individual beliefs. That has NO place in America or in America's favorite past time. Do better. You owe it to them and the fans.
@LILindaLee38@DavidFischer You know what, in many ways, I didn't, but I've been through my own hell. Don't talk to me about trauma; believe me, I know about it. I still think your frustration or anger or whatever is misplaced.
@Thevine_ntwk Because we still have to make our own choices. Jesus' sacrifice didn't make the choice for us; it just made the choice possible. We still have accept that sacrifice and his forgiveness of our own free will.
@DavidFischer (Part 2 of 2nd reply) The "depression & anxiety is from demons" thing is irritating. No, it's because this is a fallen world, but God's not just going miraculous heal everyone outright of these things. He has his own reasons for that. Science can help.
@DavidFischer Honestly can't stand the fundamentalist answers to this question, and it's irritating because I deal with mental health stuff. I don't take meds, but that's a personal choice.
@therealdrphil7@DavidFischer Of course it only curbs it because nothing but a miracle of Jesus will cure it, and I'm here to tell you that Jesus isn't likely to do that. What God will do, most likely, is help you manage it possibly with meds or not.
@ValerieC_TX@DavidFischer Bull. Excuse me, but I'm not demon possessed, thank you very much. I struggle with this stuff, and I'll have you know I'm not filled with a demon.
@MandyFaith7@DavidFischer No, you're wrong about anxiety. Can demons influence it sometimes and make it worse? Yes, but chronic anxiety is the result of the fallen nature of this world.
@LILindaLee38@DavidFischer What's so terrible about this post? He didn't post it for attention but because he honestly wants to know what others think. It's personal to him.
@DavidFischer D - it depends on the individual. I don't believe God's opposed to people taking medication, and he can work though it. A believer should ask God if it's good for them and go with what they believe God thinks.
@RealCandaceO But you're not fighting for your so-called friend. You're being ridiculous and an absolute fruit cake. You're smarter than this, Candace - come on. Be for real.
@conservmillen Amen, Allie! You hit the head with that one! Exactly! There internet "sleuths" are a bunch of crazies, especially Candy, the leader of the bunch!
