Since the IHSA playoff expansion passed, we’ve had a co-op dissolve into 8-man and two more 1A programs presenting coop plans.

Both of which will force conference realignments.

How does extending the season and eliminating the August dead week address the real issue of declining football participation?

HINT: It doesn't. In fact, I think it will make it worse.
