Damp walls, falling debris and food being prepared on the floor, India Today's sting operation has exposed hygiene lapses at two chole bhature joints in Delhi’s Karkardooma. At Shri Radhe Krishna Food Joint, the owner claimed that a food safety licence could be arranged over the phone. At Radhe Shyam Chole Bhature, staff were seen working without head covers, while a person speaking at the eatery described rats as a routine problem in kitchens. The findings raise questions about food safety standards and the monitoring of eateries serving customers.
